Gregson Parker

Many of Mr. Parker’s engagements as a forensic accountant involve determining damages, lost earnings or lost profits, or evaluating the calculations of others in those matters. Cases in which his services have been engaged include business interruption, fraud, embezzlement, product liability, wrongful termination, breach of contract, insurance claims, wrongful death, arson, and financial elder abuse matters.

In 1989, nine years after becoming a CPA, Mr. Parker founded Oregon’s first CPA firm devoted exclusively to providing forensic accounting services. He has testified over 200 times in federal, bankruptcy, probate and other courts in multiple states, as well as at arbitrations, hearings, mediations, and grand juries for both civil and criminal matters.

In addition to being a CPA, Mr. Parker was a Certified Fraud Examiner from 1989 to 2019. He has been elected twice to the Board of the Oregon Society of CPAs, served on two national committees of the American Institute of CPAs, and was the first elected President of the Oregon Chapter of CFEs.

Alongside his forensic accounting work, Mr. Parker conducts training for private sector attorneys, government attorneys, CPAs, insurance adjusters, paralegals, law enforcement, fraud investigators, business owners, and others. He has been a guest lecturer at five U.S. universities. Topics include financial losses and economic damages, lost profits and earnings, expert witness testimony, embezzlement, financial elder abuse, and forensic accounting.
